When you visit our website, information is collected about you, and is used to adapt and improve our content, the website’s user-friendliness and the relevance of advertisements, in relation to your preferences. The website uses “cookies”, a text file that is saved on your computer, mobile, tablet or other device you use to access this website. Cookies have the purpose of recognizing the website, remembering settings, improving the user experience, performing statistics and targeting advertisements. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as virus.

Our processing of your personal data

Below is an overview of our processing activities that involve your personal data.

Personal information is all kinds of information that can be attributed to you to one extent or another. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of information about you. This happens e.g. by general access to content on the website. Information is collected about your e-mail and name as well as other information you enter and consent to when you:

When you shop, we store your e-mail and the contents of the basket for up to 30 days on our server. This record is kept to refill the contents of your basket if you change devices or need to come back another day.

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to fill out the checkout for future orders.

We generally retain information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally obligated to continue to retain it. For example, we will store order information for 5 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

What we share with others

If you request to have your password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

We share information with third parties who help us deliver our orders and store services to you, e.g. Freepay ApS, which handles the payment gateway.

Purpose

Your personal data is used to identify you as a user and show you the ads that will be relevant to you, to register your purchases and payments, and to be able to deliver the services you have requested. This could be, for example, sending a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

Your personal data will only be processed based on the purposes stated at the time of collection, including possibly via reference to this privacy policy and the purposes listed herein. Our processing is limited to personal data that is necessary and relevant to fulfill the purposes.

Before we collect your personal data, we assess whether it is possible to limit the amount of personal data. We also assess whether it is possible to anonymize your personal data or otherwise process your personal data confidentially.

Period of storage

The information is kept for the period of time permitted by law and we delete it when it is no longer needed. The period depends on the nature of the information and the background for storage. It is therefore not possible to specify a general time frame for when information is deleted. In relation to payment information, this is stored safely and securely by NETS, and we only store information about transactions and purchases in accordance with accounting rules.

Disclosure of information

Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly clicks on, geographic location, gender and age, etc. disclosed to third parties to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the section on “Cookies” above. The information is used to target our ads.

We also use a number of third parties to store and process data. These only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

General rights

You have the opportunity to gain insight into which personal data we have registered about you, including receiving a copy of this data.

Right to rectification, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data

You also have the right to demand that registered personal data about you be rectified, deleted or the processing thereof restricted. If you request the deletion or restriction of information that is necessary to maintain a profile and use the site, the data controller will no longer be able to offer you access to the site. Your profile will then be deleted.

According to the Data Protection Regulation, there may be concrete situations where the data controller is not obliged to comply with the above rights.

Data portability

The right applies when the processing basis is your consent or your contract with us.

You have the right to be informed of which personal data we process about you in a common format (data portability). You can also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent for information about you to be processed. If the information processed about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected or deleted. Inquiries about this can be made via our email.

If it is technically possible, you also have the right to have this information transferred directly to another data controller.

In certain cases, your right to data portability will be affected by (and may not be able to be complied with) if this infringes on the rights or freedoms of others.

The right to object

When the legal basis for the processing is our or a third party’s legitimate interests, you have the right to object to the processing for reasons relating to your particular situation. In that case, we must stop processing the information for the purpose in question, if we cannot demonstrate compelling legitimate reasons that take precedence over your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended.

You have the opportunity to complain to the supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data concerning you. Complaints are submitted to the Danish Data Protection Authority. If you no longer want us to process your personal data or for us to restrict the processing of your personal data, you can also send us a request to this effect.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
