Inclusive therapy: what do I get?
Denmark is one of the most inclusive places in the world, but is
I have had the deep honour of being entrusted by many different types of individuals, couples and companies in helping them journey to a place of well-being and balance, since 2004.
In these years, I have seen first hand, how inner turmoil and ripples of unrest have been transformed to creativity, insight and determination, as my clients have moved from one stage of self-insight to another. Such inner work breaks the ground for courageous changes that my clients subsequently make in their lives and careers, all propelled by the therapeutic relationship I offer. Witnessing these transformational journeys has uplifted and inspired my life.
I have noted how many clients have said “Mark, my needs don’t fit your calendar.”

What I’ve also noticed is most clients feel restricted by doctor referral delays, personal and professional time restraints as well as prolonged gaps between sessions. I have noted how many clients have said “Mark, my needs don’t fit your calendar.” I have come to realise that the rigidity of the traditional therapy model needs updating to our fluid times. I have formulated a model that gives my clients more flexibility and freedom and a chance for me to be a part of their journey in a new way.
I am not alone in thinking like this. These days, most of us have a subscription of some sort – whether it’s to a newspaper, an entertainment service or an online music streamer. In fact, in the UK, 9 out of 10 Brits are subscription buyers and this trend only seems to be gaining traction.

Let’s briefly look at this another way. Let’s say you sign up for a beauty subscription box. You give over information about yourself, such as your hair colour, skin type and eye colour, and a custom box is then sent to your home for you to try. Unlike going out and buying individual products yourself, the hard work is done for you, with an overall more customised, personal experience.
Now apply this same concept to therapy. When you book a therapy session, you are purchasing a unit of time with me on a set day, also at a set time and location. This is how it has worked for decades. However, I believe that there is a more holistic way of working, especially if you are looking for long term, or intensive therapy, and have a full schedule.
A therapy subscription means that instead of paying per-session for therapy, you can now access therapy as a custom package with a unique set of offerings. The package you select will depend on your circumstances and what you want to achieve through therapy. The result? High value for money and access to benefits that others don’t get. You pay per week, or save further, and pay per month.
